As federal and state governments continue to require all of us to practice social distancing to slow down the spread of COVID-19, many ABA service providers have transitioned from in-person to a virtual model of service delivery, such as Telehealth. Behavioral Health Center of Excellence® (BHCOE®), an international accrediting body established in 2015, grants certification to “applied behavior analysis provider once it has demonstrated it has met and continues to meet an assortment of clinical and administrative standards as determined by an independent third-party evaluator”. BHCOE® has created various resources to assist ABA providers during the current pandemic.

Below are links to some of these:

FAQ’s for ABA Services Providers during COVID-19

Telehealth Accreditation Standards for ABA Organizations

Telehealth Clinical Applications to Real Cases Training

Telehealth Strategies for Effective Supervision Training

Additionally, if you are a BHCOE® member, you can also access their repository of COVID19 resources by logging into your account. There, you will access a list of all payors authorizing telehealth, employment law guidance, legislation and reports, templated policies and procedures and more.

Thank you BHCOE for making these resources available to the ABA community.
