ABAI 2018 Convention Preview: Health and Sustainability

***This week’s Under the Dome blog post is guest written by Brett W. Gelino (doctoral student) and Alix R. Fisk (undergraduate student) — both are research assistants in the Applied Behavioral Economics Laboratory at the University of Kansas***

It is mid-April, which means behavior analysts around the world are actively preparing for the upcoming Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) convention in San Diego, CA. Each year, our convention brings together the brightest minds in behavior analysis from around the globe to share research projects and innovations relating to – and resulting from – advancements in behavioral science. In an effort to promote work under the dome, we are using this week’s blog post to highlight some of the talks pertaining more directly to this agenda. Below, we have indexed presentations that fit this bill. Within this list we showcase the numerous talks specifically relating to health and sustainability. We suspect all readers are sure to find something when the topics include climate change, sports, culture, law enforcement, medicine, and more!

If there are any presentations that pique your interest, but you are unable to attend, reach out and we can live-tweet the happenings of those events.

We hope you enjoy, and look forward to seeing you there!
